Founded by Andrea (“Andi”) Mazingo, Lumen Law Center brings together deep experience from elite corporate law firms and public-interest leadership to represent employees facing high-stakes workplace disputes—particularly professionals in Big Tech and Big Law. We understand how large organizations operate from the inside, and we use that insight to advocate effectively for individuals whose rights have been violated.
Our employment practice focuses on representing employees in matters involving wrongful termination, retaliation, discrimination, harassment, wage and hour violations, and unlawful mass layoffs, including pretextual reductions in force. We have particular experience with cases involving disability, gender, race, LGBTQ+ status, and retaliation for whistleblowing or protected activity. Our corporate litigation practice brings a depth of experience representing artificial intelligence, SAAS, semiconductor, and other technology companies and their fiduciaries (officers and directors) and stakeholders (shareholders and employees).
Innovators in corporate responsibility, we conduct corporate internal investigations on behalf of organizations, boards of directors, audit committees, and shareholders regarding allegations of employee, officer, or director misconduct per internal policies, professional rules, fiduciary duties, and federal and state criminal, securities, accounting, and employment laws, standards, and regulations.
Our Family Reunification services are free with limited availability, helping parents in our community receive the legal assistance they deserve.
At Lumen Law Center, we are dedicated to pro bono family reunification services that center healing, justice, and dignity. Our team provides direct representation in family and probate court matters, with a focus on modifying custody orders and terminating guardianships to help parents increase or restore custody and visitation rights.
We believe this work is critical to healing intergenerational trauma and honoring maternal truths—because reunifying families isn’t just legal work; it’s moral work.
